This is a tradition in Indian wedding that one night before the Barat a party held at the home of bride groom in which dance party arranged. In Hindu traditions dance is the part of religious so almost all family members take part in the dance party held at the bridegroom home.

This night is especially important for the young girls of the family. They all are very excited about this function. They prepare special dresses for this occasion and also have a practice session, many days before the wedding.
