Traditional Indian wedding party

Indian weddings are famous all over the world due to there specific traditions and fantastic Indian culture. Wedding traditions vary across religion, caste, ethnicity, language, region, etc. Traditional Indian weddings are generally structured into pre-wedding ceremonies, wedding day ceremonies consisting of the Baraat, the Varmala and the Phere, and the Vidaai.

The given pictures are from a wedding party which was held in Agra few days ago. The picture belongs to the night function one day before the Barat at the home of Bridegroom. This is a tradition in Indian wedding that one night before the Barat a party held at the home of bride groom in which dance party arranged. In Hindu traditions dance is the part of religious so almost all family members take part in the dance party held at the bridegroom home.

This night is especially important for the young girls of the family. They all are very excited about this function. They prepare special dresses for this occasion and also have a practice session, many days before the wedding. Mostly close relatives of the bridegroom take part in this dance party and the rest of guest enjoy this.
