Former Miss Sri Lanka Jacqueline, later on she moves to modeling and cinema. He starts his career in Sri Lanka as a fashion model. She born on 2nd June, 1984 her father belongs to Sri Lanka and her mother was from Malaysia. Her father worked in Bahrain there fore she make her early education form there. During her school she was a talented runner.

In March 2006, Fernandez was crowned the Miss Sri Lanka for Miss Universe 2006 in March, 2006 and also competed in Miss Universe 2006, but was not a finalist. After competing at Miss Universe, she worked as an anchor on Lanka Business Report and wrote a weekly column for The Daily Mirror while modeling in India. Fernandez also has a non-profit organization in Sri Lanka focusing on empowering the underprivileged.

Due to the combination of three countries Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and Bahrain Jacqueline not only speak the languages of there three countries but also she can speak Sinhala, Spanish, French, Arabic, Hindi and English.
