British Fashion Council (BFC) announced that it will host the first Sustainable fashion show on the official LFW (London fashion week) catwalk. Show will be held in partnership with START, an initiative by The Prince’s Charities Foundation. The partnership reinforces the BFC commitment to sustainable fashion through its initiative. A significant number of designers from Estethica will be showcasing their 2011 collection as part of the first Sustainable catwalk show in the London.
Show will be held in Friary Court, in St. James’s Palace on Friday September 17th, the first day of London Fashion Week. This fantastic festival will see the gardens of Clarence House, Marlborough House and Lancaster House opened for the public from 8th-19th September.
Festival invites over 400 journalists, celebrities, designers, retailers and models to celebrate London’s position as leaders in designing and promoting fashion. Feature designers will also include to the fashion show. Public attending the Garden Party on Friday 17th may have the opportunity to see the show as limited places will be available.
